Pricing

One fixed price. Quoted after we talk.

No price list, and this page explains exactly why — along with everything that determines what a project costs, so you can estimate the shape of it before you ever speak to me.

Pricing

Fixed scope. No surprises.

Quote-only by design. Every engagement is scoped on a free 30-minute call, then quoted as one fixed price for the whole piece of work. No hourly billing. No discovery fee. No retainer you cannot leave.

Free 30-minute call

We scope the problem together and identify which workflows are worth automating first — and which are not. No charge, no obligation, and the audit map is yours either way.

Fixed quote within 48 hours

One number for the entire engagement with the scope written out explicitly, plus an honest estimate of what the system costs to run each month in third-party fees.

Weekly builds, milestone invoices

You see working systems every week and pay against milestones as they ship — never in advance of delivered work.

Audits run about a week · most builds ship in two to four weeks · month-to-month care plans available, never required

Why there is no price list

Because a published price for custom work is either fiction or a floor nobody meets. Two businesses asking for invoice automation can differ tenfold in how many systems are involved and how many exceptions need handling. Rather than advertise a number that changes the moment we speak, I quote once — after I understand the problem, and before you commit anything.

Running costs are yours, and visible before you commit

AI model usage, automation platform subscriptions and hosting are billed by those vendors to accounts you own. I never mark them up or bill them through me. The blueprint includes an estimated monthly running cost with the assumptions written out, so you can check the arithmetic yourself.

What's included

What every engagement includes, beyond the process above

  • Plain-English documentation and a recorded walkthrough
  • Full ownership transfer of code, workflows and prompts
  • Thirty days of post-launch support
  • An NDA on request, signed before you share anything sensitive

Pricing questions

What it costs, and what drives it

Because a published price for custom work is either fiction or a floor nobody actually pays. Two businesses asking for the same thing — 'automate our invoicing' — can differ tenfold in how many systems are involved and how many exceptions need handling. Rather than advertise a number that changes the moment we speak, I quote once, after understanding the real problem, and that number is then fixed.

Four things, in roughly this order of impact: how many separate systems the workflow has to touch; how many exceptions and edge cases need explicit handling; whether the data sources have proper APIs or need to be worked around; and whether a language model is involved, which adds an evaluation and guardrail layer. A single clean workflow between two well-documented tools is a substantially smaller project than a six-step process spanning four systems.

No. The 30-minute call and the written workflow map that comes out of it are free, and yours to keep whether or not you hire me — including if the honest conclusion is that you should not automate anything yet.

Never. Hourly billing puts our interests in direct conflict: it rewards me for taking longer and it means you cannot know the cost until it is already spent. Every engagement is one fixed price for a written scope, paid against milestones as working systems ship.

Two things, and neither is billed through me. AI model usage and any automation platform or hosting subscriptions are charged by those vendors directly to accounts you own — I do not mark them up. The blueprint you approve before the build includes an estimated monthly running cost with the assumptions written out, so you can check the arithmetic yourself. An optional care plan for monitoring and iteration is separate, month to month, and never required.

Yes, as month-to-month care plans covering monitoring, provider changes and small iterations. There is no minimum term and no notice period — you can stop whenever you like and keep everything. A retainer you cannot leave is a retainer that stops needing to earn its keep.

Whichever suits you — most commonly USD, GBP, EUR or INR. I am based in India and work with clients in the US, UK and elsewhere, so international payment is routine. Taxes are handled according to where you are: the invoice states clearly what is and is not included, and I will tell you before we start if anything about your jurisdiction changes that.

Not a formal one, but there is a practical floor. Below a certain size the discovery, documentation and handover cost more than the automation returns, and I will tell you that on the call rather than take a project neither of us should want. Sometimes the right answer is a better template and a calendar link.

A note on cheaper options

If your problem is genuinely solved by an off-the-shelf tool, a template, or thirty minutes with your existing software’s automation features, that is a better use of your money than hiring me — and I will say so on the call. It happens more often than you might expect from someone whose business is selling builds.
