Lytheo is private by default. You can use it without an account and without giving us your name, email or phone number. Here’s exactly what we collect and how to clear it — no jargon.
What we collect
- An anonymous ID in a first-party cookie, so Lytheo can remember your session and preferences. It isn’t tied to your real identity.
- Your conversations with the Lytheo assistant.
- Your shopping preferences (like brand or budget) when you share them.
- Your watchlist — products you save.
- Feedback you choose to send.
- Basic usage analytics (which features you use, clicks to merchants), to make Lytheo better.
What we never collect
We don’t collect passwords, card or bank details, or your merchant logins. Purchases and payments happen on the merchant’s website — never on Lytheo.
Why we collect it
Only to run and improve the service — remember your session, personalize recommendations, power the assistant, and keep things working and secure. Analytics and personalization are optional, and you control them in the cookie notice. You can withdraw that choice anytime.
How long we keep it
Only as long as it’s useful. Sessions and conversations are kept on a rolling basis and cleared over time. You can wipe everything yourself whenever you like.
How to delete it
Go to Your Data and clear everything in one click — it also resets your anonymous profile. Prefer email? Reach us at hello@lytheo.com.
Who helps us run Lytheo
We use a few trusted services: secure database hosting, an AI provider that writes the assistant’s plain-language explanations (we don’t send your name or contact details in prompts), and merchant data sources for public product and price information. Buying through some links earns Lytheo a small affiliate commission, at no extra cost to you.
Your choices & contact
You can access, correct or delete your data and withdraw consent anytime. We follow India’s DPDP Act and aim to honour GDPR-style principles too. Questions or requests? Email hello@lytheo.com — one inbox for everything, including privacy and grievances.
