AI Limitations
Version 1.0 · Last updated 28 June 2026
Trust means being upfront about what AI can and can’t do. Here’s the short version.
The engine decides; AI explains
Lytheo’s recommendation — which product, which merchant — is worked out by a deterministic engine from real details like price, ratings, delivery and returns. AI only puts that into plain language. It never makes the call.
AI wording can be imperfect
The written explanations can occasionally be off or awkward. Treat them as a helpful summary — the structured comparison on the cards is the reliable part.
Prices change
Product information comes from third parties and can be out of date. The merchant’s website is always the source of truth, so check there before you buy.
Use Lytheo well
Lytheo is great for narrowing choices fast and understanding the trade-offs. Confirm the final details with the merchant before purchasing. Spotted something off? Tell us.
